Panel Profiles
We have the capability to run various panel profiles, ranging from 9" to 24" wide, with 16" being the most common width. This versatility ensures that we can meet the specific needs of your project, whether you're looking for a narrow, sleek look or a wider, more traditional appearance.
Panel Types
We offer two main types of panels:
Snaplock Panels: Designed for ease of installation, with a concealed fastener system that provides a sleek, modern appearance.
U Panels: These are more traditional panels, ideal for projects where strength and durability are paramount.
We can also provide clips that are specifically designed to fit our panels, ensuring a secure and reliable installation.
Striations vs. Flat Panels
You have the option to choose between striated panels and flat panels. Striations are subtle grooves added to the surface of the panels. These are not just for aesthetics—they play a crucial role in adding strength to the panels and eliminating oil canning. Oil canning is a common issue with flat panels, where waviness or distortion appears due to thermal expansion. By choosing striated panels, you ensure a stronger, more stable roofing solution.
Accessories
To complete your project, we collaborate with a local metal bender brake shop that produces high-quality accessories. We also utilize a hydraulic shear to cut flat sheets to size, speeding up the process and making it easier for the brake shop to provide our accessories quickly and efficiently.
In addition, we have a snap cap machine that allows us to create precise, custom caps for U panels, ensuring a perfect fit every time. For projects requiring ridge venting, our perforator machine is capable of making vent holes, enhancing ventilation without compromising the integrity of the roof.
Attention to Detail
What sets us apart from other crews is our pride in the details. Our extensive experience with accessories enables us to create skylights, chimneys, wall flashings, and other similar details that are not only aesthetically pleasing but also highly functional. We believe that every aspect of your roof should reflect both beauty and practicality.
The Metal
We source our coil and flat sheets from Coated Metal Group (CMG), a trusted name in the industry, known for their premium materials. This allows us to offer you panels that are not only aesthetically pleasing but also built to last.
While we provide both 24-gauge and 26-gauge painted steel, we strongly encourage the use of 24-gauge for its superior strength. Not only does 24-gauge steel provide better durability, but it also offers enhanced protection against future hail damage. Importantly, the labor price for installation is the same regardless of whether you choose 24-gauge or 26-gauge, making the stronger option a wise investment for your roof's longevity.
While our price for rolling coil into panels remains constant, the final price may fluctuate due to changes in metal prices, as our prices reflect current market conditions. Additionally, larger quantities can result in a lower final rolling price, depending on the specific needs of your project.
If you prefer to source coil from a different manufacturer, we are fully equipped to accommodate this preference. Simply have the material delivered directly to our shop.
On-Site Rolling
For projects requiring panels longer than 25 feet, we offer on-site rolling services. This means that we can fabricate the panels directly at your location, ensuring a perfect fit and reducing the risk of damage during transport.
